Flare Path: all systems go!

In the autumn of 1941 at the Falcon Hotel, beneath
wartime skies, a group of RAF airmen snatch a rare
weekend with their wives. Until they are called out
on a mission...

In May 2018 Meopham Players will be presenting Flare Path by Terence Rattigan

Beautifully constructed and profoundly moving, Flare Path is a classic of 20th Century British Theatre, with truly wonderful acting opportunities for all.

We are very fortunate to have the services of Paul Doust as Director. Paul trained as an actor at the Guildhall School, London and then took to play and TV scriptwriting for BBC's Eastenders and Holby City. He now runs theatre workshops all over Kent.

Rehearsals for Flare Path are now underway and will continue every week until 24th May.

Morris dancers at our February monthly meeting

Bishop Gundulf's Morris Side danced Northwest clog and Longsword for an appreciative audience on 7th February. We are welcoming a party from our guests back to the Village Hall on Saturday 24th February for the Jungle Book matinee.

Henry Roberts - Meopham Players President

Our longest-serving and well-loved member, Henry, has recently suffered a broken hip and had to undergo an operation on 10th February. He is now recovering in Maple Ward at Darent Valley Hospital. He is in good hands and we wish him a speedy recovery and an early return home.
